There are many individual programmer to develop web software product in China.
one reason is with the PHP development, many web software based on AMP(apache+mysql+php) web station construction . these software included many categories, such as CMS, discussion forum, eShop,Picture, Music and movie Website, these products allowed some people don't know develop to build a website very quickly.therefore had the very big demand. the number of web product about 10,000. The webmaster can download this product from some website like Chinaz.com and Codechina.net.

Most of these product are shareware, they afford different version include free version. these free version could give them a lot of users. like some product, if you use Asp+Access database, it is free for use, but if you want use SQLserver version, you should pay for it.

In China, PHP and ASP all have many users, because some people use Micorsoft's pirate software, the cost of use ASP is not high. So some web product sales good. For example, one discussion forum software named Discuz, they obtained the IDG(International Data Group ) venture capital. they occupied 70% forum market, they use php, but now they pushed one version can easy installed at Microsoft platform. and these version is free,
